The ICC Champions Trophy match between Australia and Bangladesh was washed out due to rain. Australia needed 183 runs in 50 Overs and they were well-placed at 83-1 in 16 Overs with David Warner 40*(44) and skipper Steve Smith 22*(25) at the crease. Then the rain came in and play couldn’t resume further.

The Aussies and the tigers shared a point apiece. Both are still not out of the race and need to win their final game to reach the semifinals.

Earlier, Bangladesh bowled out for 182 despite Tamim Iqbal’s 95

Iqbal continued from where he left off from the last game by scoring 95 from 114 balls but no one except Shakib Al Hasan 29(48) gave him company.

For Australia Mitchell Starc picked up 4-29 including a 3-wicket maiden. Adam Zampa took two wickets for 13 runs.
